Getting Around
We are located 5 miles from Arlesey Train station and 10-20 minutes drive from both the A1 and M1 motorways. We are conveniently located for commuting to Biggleswade, Letchworth, Hitchin or Bedford via car.
We are also well situated for visitors to RAF Henlow, RAF Chicksands and local attractions including Knebworth House, Wrest Park, Shuttleworth Air Shows and Universal Studios in Bedford.
Luton Airport is 25 minutes by car or taxi. If you require help and assistance with local transfers, pick-ups and collection from local train stations and airports, please contact us for assistance.
Neighbourhood
Our accommodation is located very close, within walking distance, to Shefford town centre, a small and lively high street with local shops, cafes and public houses located in Central Bedfordshire.
Hitchin, Bedford, Letchworth are all commutable via car. We are also almost equidistant from the A1 in one direction and the M1 in another direction. Arlesey and Flitwick train stations provide mainline train access whilst local bus services run between Hitchin and Bedford.
We are also ideally situated for visits to Shuttleworth House, Knebworth House, Wrest Park in Silsoe, RAF Chicksands and slightly further afield for visits to Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes and Woburn Safari Park. There is a wealth of walking trails and countryside within a moments walking distance.
